Soon let's start the campaign of arrecadation of the portal Brazilian Auditions through Catarse, where you can donate from BRL 10 on and earn great rewards - that will be increased as your contribution grows.
My goal: to inaugurate the first Brazilian portal totally dedicated to classical music and not established in Rio de Janeiro nor São Paulo.
Because of my professional activity in Pernambuco State, as journalist specialized in classical music, I've realized the need for a media focused on actions and events in the North-Eastern Region - as well as all other regions far from Rio and São Paulo, to tell the truth.
The articles and researches I did - and my contact with conductors, instrumentists and composers from all country - encouraged me to take this decision. Now, as I finished my Master's, it's the right moment to be engaged in the idea of the portal, also thinking since this moment on its auto-sustentability.
For this, a series of resources and atractives items will be prepared to increase the funcionality of the portal and the value of its and its supporters' mark:
- Creation of a logo.
- Integration with social nets, principally Facebook and Twitter.
- Partnership with the site Agenda Recife (Recife Schedule), that informs all about music events in the city of Recife, capital of Pernambuco State.
- Partnership with ArgoHost, one of the biggest host sites in Latin America.
- Promotion of sponsored posts.
- Newsletter service.
- Week podcasts all dedicated to Brazilian works and musicians.
- Special sessions for:
a) videos sent by musicians and visitors;
b) indication of the CD or DVD of the month, including a free track for audition;
c) interviews.
- And, sure, many events to you choose where to go.
The amount obtained via Catarse will be invested in essential services like: advanced web design, virtual HD for audio files, prodution of permanent content during one year (including translations if the aimed amount is overpassed), mailing of the rewards and Catarse's adminstrative fees.
